Oregonians understand that racial profiling is wrong and makes all of us less safe. That’s why our Sanctuary Law passed with bipartisan support and was enthusiastically reaffirmed by voters in 2018. Oregon For All is fighting to protect our community from the Trump administration’s calls for a federal “crackdown” on immigrant Oregonians and Marion County politicians’ attempt to undermine our Sanctuary Law. Together, we’re standing up to federal overreach and protecting Oregon values.

PROTECTING IMMIGRANT OREGONIANS

WHAT'S HAPPENING: Marion County’s Commission is suing the state to challenge our Sanctuary Law, which helps protect people from being unfairly profiled based on the color of their skin, their accent, or their perceived immigration status.

Oregon passed its Sanctuary Law nearly 40 years ago, with strong support from Republicans and Democrats, to prevent unfair profiling and protect local law enforcement’s ability to work effectively with community members.

Now, Marion County commissioners are threatening public safety by attacking our Sanctuary Law.

Equal Rights for All is a ballot initiative for the November 2026 election. If passed, it will affirm the right to an abortion, contraception, and IVF; transgender healthcare; and same-gender marriage in the Oregon Constitution.
