UPCOMING EVENTS

What will it take to protect our neighbors and our communities from a hostile administration for the long haul? The fight for the democracy we deserve is a marathon, not a sprint. Join us at local meet‑ups to learn about non‑violent ways we fight back with organizing, people power and joy over the coming months—and build the America we all deserve.

March 28 No Kings Portland

Battleship Oregon Memorial
SW Naito Pkwy

What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever.

On March 28th, join No Kings Portland and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. The event organizers expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events.

April 1 Business Canvass for Day Without an Immigrant

Multiple Locations
RSVP for Details

On January 30, hundreds of businesses across Oregon took part in the national general strike and closed their doors to protest ICE violence in Minnesota and our own communities. Now, we’re gearing up for another massive day of action on May Day (May 1) to show our support for our immigrant friends, family, and neighbors.

In collaboration with Protect Oregon, PCUN and Oregon For All are launching a one-day canvass on Wednesday, April 1 to get local businesses involved in May Day. Together, we are making it clear: Immigrant workers are the heart of Oregon – they keep our communities running and enrich every part of our state.

On April 1st, canvassers will drop off posters and talk with local businesses about joining us on May Day. Canvasses are happening in Portland, Salem, Woodburn, Bend, and the Coast, with opportunities to organize in other areas. Trainings will take place on March 26 (Spanish) and March 30 (English). Sign up for the canvass for more information on the trainings.
