Vote-by-Mail in Oregon is safe & secure. See below for important dates, resources, and information about how to make sure your voice is heard in this important election.

As always, there are two safe and secure options for returning your Oregon ballot:

• By Mail: This year, the last recommended day to return ballots by mail is October 27 (or by Oct. 24 if returning in Malheur, Baker, Harney, Wallowa, or Union counties). If you wish to mail your ballot after October 27, take your ballot to a USPS counter and request a free manual postmark by November 3. A ballot placed in a mailbox might not be postmarked that same day.

• By Drop Box: As always, the last day to return your ballot using an official drop box is 8 PM on Tuesday, November 3.

If you witness or experience harassment, intimidation, or other election-related threats, report it to the national nonpartisan Election Protection Hotline:

Voter intimidation is illegal. No one may intimidate, pressure, or interfere with you while you vote. You have the right to:

• Vote free from intimidation, harassment, or threats.

• Reach official ballot drop boxes and election offices without interference, including from federal officers or military personnel stationed nearby.

• Keep your vote private.

• You may also report an election law violation by filling out an investigation request form on OregonVotes.gov.
